Programs:
A Joyful Noise offers a “Mom and Tot” class one day per week for children who are turning two between 9/1/10 and 11/30/10. We also offer a two-day program for two year olds, a three-day program for three year olds and a five day per week Junior Kindergarten Class. We also offer a very unique Christian enrichment program called Creations, offered one day per week for children ages three, four and five. Registration Procedure: Our registration information meeting/application drop off will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 9-11 a.m. at Kenilworth Union Church for the 2010 / 2011 school year. Registration is on a lottery basis; church members have priority. Registration fee: $100 for each class.

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL PRESCHOOL
Programs: Our classes begin in September, after Labor Day, and run through mid-May. Mommy and Me: One transition class that meets for 1½ hours, one day a week. Mid-year, moms leave children with two teachers in classroom for "on my own" class. Also, one-hour class that meets once a week with Mom staying with child throughout the class. 2-year-olds: One or two day option, mornings; two day afternoon class. 3-year olds: three- or four-day morning option; three-day afternoon class. BANNER PRESCHOOL
Programs: A.M. BAKER DEMONSTRATION SCHOOL
Program: Founded by progressive education pioneer, Clara Bell Baker, in 1918, Baker Demonstration School serves close to 400 toddlers through eighth grade students. CHILDREN'S CIRCLE DAY CARE CENTER
Programs: Children's Circle serves children 15 months through 6 years of age, offering a full day preschool program, as well as before and after kindergarten care. Children's Circle operates year-round, and children may attend two, three, four or five days a week. Our professional teachers help children learn to navigate their world by supporting healthy social and emotional development and an enthusiasm for learning. Children's Circle is a program of the Glencoe Park District. Non-residents are welcome to enroll. HARKNESS HOUSE FOR CHILDREN
Programs: Child care for children 6 weeks to 6 years old. Full day program (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and part day options available. Registration procedure: Parents are required to visit the center as part of the registration process. There is a rolling admission throughout the year. When all spaces are filled, names are placed on a waiting list and spaces are filled in the order parents signed up. All programs are continuous. Programs: Movement and Music:Tuesday mornings for children ages 8 months–23 months with parent/caregiver. NORTH SHORE COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL
Programs: Half-day junior (4-year-od) kindergarten (8:10 a.m. to noon), full-day junior kindergarten (8:10 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.), and full-day senior kindergarten (8:10 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.) Our programs are theme-based with various "unit studies" including metamorphosis, bears, the solar system, the rain forest, and more. Music, art, Spanish, P.E., and laboratory science (SK) are part of the integrated curriculum. Both programs are designed to encourage academic, social, emotional, and physical development. ROSE HALL MONTESSORI
Programs: Toddler classes meet either two or three days per week for two hours. Mixed age (3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds) Half Day Classes are three hours long, meeting five days per week mornings or afternoons. There is an optional Lunch Bunch for older children, meeting Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for two hours. Kindergarten Enrichment Program meets Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Programs: Non-religious morning program (9-11:15 a.m.) for a mixed group of 16 3- and 4-year-olds per day with three teachers. ST. JOSEPH'S SCHOOL

Program: St. Joseph Preschool offers morning and afternoon programs for 2-year-olds, as well as a program for 3-5 year-olds.  The 2 year-old program is open to any child who turns 2 years before September 1 (potty training not required, but preferred). MWF and TT options available; classes are two hours long. The curriculum includes weekly themes that develop readiness skills and an introduction to Catholic teachings and faith. St. Joseph's separate 3-5 year-old program is a Montessori-based program creating a highly individualized learning environment that teaches skill mastery and develops creativity and self-confidence.  The 3-5 year-old program uses the "Catechesis of the Good Shepherd," which engages children in liturgical teachings and prayer. St. Joseph Preschool has a unique teaching method which combines the Montessori method with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. The 3-5 year-old program is a two-and-a-half hour program. JOSEPH SEARS SCHOOL
Programs: Our afternoon Junior Kindergarten program offers children the opportunity to learn through positive involvement, play, interacting with others and problem-solving in a warm, nurturing environment. Our rich and varied curriculum focuses on social-emotional development, early literacy development, early mathematical skills, and fine motor and physical development. Theme-based units offer opportunities to explore all of the above through a variety of social studies and science themes. Within the classroom, students have rich literature and art experiences that are enhanced by specialized classes in music and phonemic awareness. A wide array of new materials and equipment are available for children to actively use, manipulate or build with and the daily schedule includes both structured group activity time as well as time for children to explore a variety of centers for dramatic play, blocks, art, writing, computer, reading, science, and math. WINNETKA PUBLIC SCHOOL NURSERY
